anybody ever struck su carbs pouring fuel out the overflows ? the car is a datto 1600, L16 with hitachi twin su carbs. after christmas it wouldnt start problem was no fuel flowing so disconnected electric fuel pump hooked up old manual pump car runs but, so so as mechanical fuel pump half buggered
no probs go buy new electric fuel pump mount it in the back this time so its not in the engine bay car goes but fuel pours out su overflows, which are on the side chambers hmmmmmmmmmmmmm ok go buy a fuel regulator switch it to 1 pound....gotta work right nope, dam fuel still pours out adjust fuel level float in side chambers, still doesnt work any bright idea's anyone ? anybody know a mobile carby guy on brisbane southside who can fix em ? thanks jeff --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
