28-32 total is normal for L20B's with big cams (290+ duration) depending on
static comp ratio. Higher comp = less total advance.

i used to set my L18 (76 deg cam) at 32 deg total advance.
which i think it was around 15 deg at idle, this was with a bosch elect dist
(not a BB2 type) curved to suit cam.
