Probably all that was available here if it was done way back in time -
A87 heads didn't arrive en mass in Aus until '73/4 ish and except for the SSS
they were all fairly puny port sized too. The 210 has small ports as you say but
had heaps of meat to port them out to 35mm or ever further, small combustion
chamber is ~36cc or there abouts - great for an avgas L engine in the 70's, CR
with the 1889cc block is up there ~11.1. Bit wasted on a 1889cc L18 - get
an A87-V912 38mm head if you find one, even a U67 with a pair of 45's would go
great on that engine. It would detonate it's little head off with pump fuel on a
warmish day.
