How old are the calipers?

Do you have any 308 manifolds?

Hey Kris,

Mate i think there is air seeping back into the lines.
I havent organised the proper flexible ones yet & just connected up the
short r31 lines to the fixed 1600 lines to test out the brakes.
I might have to get the proper ones made up & then try again.
If i listened "vewy vewy carefooly" I could hear air seeping back in one one
side.
I tightened up the lines & used some liquid thread tape, but only one side
is firming up so the other side must still be letting in air, i guess no
fluid leaks out because there is too much air at the end on the line.

Any body got a correct length on the flexible line,
or better still a donar car ?

cheers Jeff

PS my wife usually prefers to be called a she :)

Did you tighten the nipple up before he took his foot off the pedal?

Subject: brake bleeding problem - r31 rear disk upgrade

Hey,

I bought some pads yesterday for my new r31 rear disks.
stuck em in this morning, when i tried to bleed them the brake pedal would
give 1 firm press then go fairly soft.
I wasnt able to get any fluid to expell from the bleeder (yes i had a
helper
pressing the brake pedal)
this is weird i never expected this problem

any ideas ?

thanks Jeff
