Thanks Mark........You nailed it mate. is there a substitute hose that i can grab from the wreckers from a donar car ? and just run flexible hose right through from the caliper to the junction ?

You need to go to a brake shop and get it re-flared.. it needs to be a 'ball' type flare to seal with the R31 hose. If you look at the old fitting on your old wheel cylinders and then at the inside of the R31 hose you will see what I mean.. It will always leak until you change the flare..
