The standard 1600 metal brake line that you have hooked up to the R31
flexible hose has the wrong sort of flare on the end to suit the R31
hose.. You need to go to a brake shop and get it re-flared.. it needs to
be a 'ball' type flare to seal with the R31 hose.
If you look at the old fitting on your old wheel cylinders and then at
the inside of the R31 hose you will see what I mean.. It will always
leak until you change the flare..
