My genuine IBM 8088 has the Intel plug in Turbo board.
The Ad had a guy holding onto his desk with his hair going straight
back.
I still have it on Dos 5.1 with Word Perfect 5 and Xtree 3.0  and some
more fossil programs.
I still have the computer, but sold the IBM CGA screen a few years ago
to a collector :-(

Ahhh, I remember my first XT. It was the 8088 that you could switch from
10mhz 
to 4.77mhz with a 'turbo' button. Also you could add more memory, but
you had 
to solder it physically to the m/b. I first learnt basic and then
assembly on 
that thing, I wish I still had it...
