I would be flushing the cluch master cylinder all
the way untill clean fluid comes out the other end.
Maybee your old fluid had gone bad, I had same
problem a few months agowith my 1600 wagon, did a huge flush (1/2 a litre pumped
through the system) all is great now.

That makes sense. those are the only two gears i have trouble
with. Out of
habit i double clutch the other shifts, but frommemory
its never happend
with anything but first or reverse.
