its not the shafts that i need, its what the shaft bolts to, the plate on
the diff, and they bolt into the diff, you know what i mean?? you have diff,
then plate, then shaft, then wheel flange plate...

I'm not sure that all R30 shafts fit the 1600, I recall helping someone
trying to fit them a long while back and no go - 240K & C210 shafts
definitely fit the 1600 with R180.

nah its all good now, amazing what a second pair of hands can do, haha New
problem, i got the diff from a 4WD 720, it has the different shafts. i
bolted the side flanges to take the 1600 shafts into the side of the side,
and then it wouldnt spin, shaft brackets are too short, so i am guessing
that now i haVE to find a 240k or r30 to take those bolt in flange pieces,
is that correct, or does anyone have some they want to part with....
