Good as gold mate I have seen a bloke weld it all in place and it gets real
ugly come head off time.

That being said, I am a big fan of welding the top plate on, with
strengthening plates stitched down the strut tower to the subframe and
bolting in the cross brace.  Remember the rule: Gussets are gold!

i was going to weld it to the top plates i have made similar to the kmac top
plates but out of 3mm plate, it can be unbolted from the car
