yeah heath that is right, the 40's & 45's have to have a choke to hold the
venturi in , but also the venturi bolts on from the sides on these , i have
40 mm dcom's ... anyone know anything about these ... as far as i can
determine the only difference to the dcoe is that it has a diaphragm
operated fuel pump in them???? i cant find much info on them anywhere
......... & cant find pump kits either ....... but on the subject of
venturies ... i am really in dire need of at least two (2) 4.5 venturi to
suit a 40 mm ......... then at least i can get the bluey operational
.........

went
back to the 40mm same day
Most of the jets in mine have been bronzed up and re drilled,
You dont need to buy new parts just work what your've got..
Ya just need to find a carb expert.
