Hi,

I am very happy to see the progress of Merb and proud enough to be a
part of Merb Community.

I have few quick suggestions for making Merb more popular and easily
available for Rubyists to know whats happening around.

Suggestion : 1

We all know that we have a very popular site known as
workingwithrails.com. All Rails developers enroll themselves over
there to gain more popularity.

i propose to have a unique site as workingwithmerb. This will give us
a unique identity as well.

Suggestion 2
Another site, www.opensourcerails.com is listing all the popular
projects available for Rails. Currently it becomes difficult to keep a
tab on upcoming projects available on GitHub.

Since the source code of Opensourcerails is open, its easy to fork the
site as opensourcemerb.

Suggestion 3

It would be nice if the core team provides ( makes available ) the
vector design of Merb, so that Merbists can use it on their letter
heads and visiting cards as well. It would be nice to have a vector
design so that it can be scaled as per requirement.

Suggestion 4

http://www.ruby-forum.com is very famous and carries a section for
everyone like (1) Ruby (2) Rails (3) IronRuby (4) JRuby etc...
Its time, we also propose to have a special section on Merb there, so
that the Rubyists visiting there frequently can also have a quick look
in Merb section to know whats the latest in Merb

Since i am a merb fan, i thought perhaps i can put this suggestions
here.

Thanks
