How about this as an idea:

www.merbdocumentation.com

Where maybe the core team posts what is changed from release to
release and maybe mention what people upgrading to newer versions
should look for, so less time is spent "fixing" the app after an
upgrade?

The core team is really entertaining when boasting how much merb is
better than Rails, yes, but a "professional" framework shouldn't make
me spend 1 hour trying to find out what changed between point releases
on IRC, then upgrading gems and finding out that, hey, data_objects
needs 0.9.8, dm-core is still 0.9.7 and somewhere in between 1.0.3
needs one of these (or not, heck, I don't know, it works now and I
have no idea why because there's no proper release notes on 1.0.3
anywhere).

Something like that would be time better spent than bickering about
Rails (of all things) on blogs and in articles.
