Yeah this thing really needed welding but it would have been very hard to grind 
the keyway back out...
What it really needs is a new shaft and pulley. I've now fixed both of them. 
Its a 44 year old mowing deck, you just can't find quality...

Back to welding on the 190D today. I got the driver's side jack point all cut 
out and cleaned up and the first piece of metal cut to fit. I'm getting faster 
at the prep work. It'd be nice to see my welding improve...

JB Weld was my favorite glue, and still is the glue of choice
for many applications, but I find that more of what I tackle
that's broken is amenable to Shoe Goo instead.  It comes down
to 'grip' and flexibility.  Shoe Goo wins for those, but it's
nowhere near as strong as JB Weld, either.

Of course, molten metal (weld weld) is my favorite 'glue'!
