It held up for a few more laps around the pool, so now, it's onto bigger and ddeper bodies of water. I almost forgot another repair! The steering shaft boot had cracked and deteriorated, so I pressed the fat end of an eye dropper end into the hull and popped the shaft through the hole. It works as good as new!
