Yeah, I suppose so, but I better not have car trouble at night and try to get help at someone's home either. They might have to protect themselves or their country if I knock on the door, right?
Unfortunately, my opinion of the abilities of average people is not very high. I base that on the dumb things that I see people do in traffic as well as other silly things that I read in the paper etc. Unfortunately, in the USA those folks probably qualify to have guns. Stupid people are dangerous. Stupid people with guns are even worse.
