Get rid of 'em or reinstall Win98 on the old machine and network the two machines together for the times you need those drives. For $20 you can buy a USB key drive with 1500x the storage of a floppy drive or 160x the storage of the zip drive and is more reliable than either while being way smaller and easier to transport.
If you really love zip disks you could get a USB zip drive, I bet they're cheap on eBay. I've got one that I'm keeping for reasons I don't completely understand. -Curt Date: Sun, 12 Apr 2009 14:03:23 -0400 From: "WILTON" <wilt...@nc.rr.com> Subject: [MBZ] OT - new computer To: "mercedes list" <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Message-ID: <77752986b99848da983226490a264...@wiltonpc> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Several of you have suggested I turn the hard drive from my old Win 98 computer into an external HD for the new Vista computer. Ya think I may be able to do that with the old Zip and 3.5" floppy drives, also? Wilton -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
