Well that solves the taste test problem. Any leak on the slave cyl will be visible. Keep track of the fluid. You may see some slight loss as the air may to some extent self bleed. At the same time you should notice that the clutch will start to engage and disengage with the peddle further from the floor. You should still push the peddle all the way down each time you shift though.

Slave is external to the bellhousing.

I checked the fluid last night, no detectable loss of fluid...
