I have a G4 Quicksilver sitting in the back bedroom acting as a backup machine. That's about as old as mine get.
My current machine (which just recently replaced a C2D 20" iMac) is a Mac Pro 1,1 Intel. I want to upgrade the processors to 5355s and make it an 8 core machine, but I'm just not motivated to do it at this point as I don't do anything that requires that sort of horsepower. I will say that adding SSD boot drives to my machines has made them quite fast. If anyone wants my G4 I would part with it cheap. It's just taking up space. Got a 15" Cinema Display, the round speakers, a RAID card with a couple of drives and I don't know how much memory.
