it really would depend on what the lower cost unit is and how easily it is replaced
i have a 77 le sabre. alternator replacement was under 10 minutes, but as little as 3 if you hustled. i'd go for the cheapest one napa had back in they day, knowing that i could warranty it on the spot and replace it instantly. if it was a more complicated job, i'd go for a higher quality unit. i don't see any kind of removable voltage regulator or anything on the picture, so an easy swap out might not be in the cards On Sat, Nov 23, 2013 at 12:01 AM, Brian Toscano <brian.tosc...@gmail.com>wrote: > I'm getting intermittent charging on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee.
