We, also, are losing tenure after the Republican invasion. This was a big deal in certain circles, but it got overwhelmed by some of the other stuff they did. Kind of what you'd expect when you hire a bunch of "reformers" after having the same bunch of Democrats in power since Reconstruction, but I guess it took some people by surprise.
