It was either Brunnhilde or Wotan, I kinda liked the idea of a stout female name for a German Wagner, er, wagon. My daughter persists in calling her/it Dieter. None of these names are cutesie-poo, no one would ever name a Benz a cutesie-poo name, it just would not be right. Maybe a Neon or a Bug, but never a Benz.

BTW, the American Heritage dictionary lists "Brunhild" (Icelandic) as well
as Brunnhilde (Wagnerian).
