Well, I don't really have it solved. I'm still where I was when I asked the question - I don't know what features I may be missing by using the old keyboard, and still can't see the new one well enough to use it easily. BTW, my eyesight is excellent - 20/30 corrected to 20/20 with progressive lenses.
