Ditto? That you would buy the Michelins?  I agree about not wanting to skimp on 
the tires.  That's why the only used tires I am even considering are top name 
brands and they are barely used.  Not only do I drive frequently with my family 
in my car, but I drive even more (and even faster) by myself for work.  I have 
been totally impressed with these Michelins that are on here.   Here are the 
tires I have.  They are also the same as the used set I am considering.

Ditto - what he said. Age is important for tires. Tires make a big difference 
in how a car handles and drives. Don't skimp on tires. They are also a safety 
item, and your family rides in that car sometimes. Just because you are driving 
the last value out of that car does not mean that you don't have to maintain it 
and keep it "up to snuff".
