We've got the slab formed up at my camp for a 16x20 garage to keep my tractor in. Realizing we probably should have gone 20x24 but its too late now, I'm not redoing the earthwork... Thats about the size I'd like 2 cars wide with extra depth... Twice that would be a perfect size house for me and the wife. We've been living in 600sf for 6 years now and could use a bit more space but not so much that we'd never get around to cleaning it. -Curt Date: Thu, 02 Feb 2006 12:06:45 -0500 From: Mitch Haley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [MBZ] W's concern abt oil To: Mercedes Discussion List <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

My wife's first car had a bad fuel line which I replaced with a piece of washer hose from a sink. The hose is good for gas but not for MTBE. The next day about 5 miles down the road I heard "pop" and the line shattered. When I put it in it was nice flexable line, once the gas sat in it a little while it was just like glass. Pretty wierd, there was maybe 24 hours from when I put it in until it shattered. I've seen gas eat plastic or rubber lines and they soften and leak this line cracked and shattered, about a 1" section of it was just gone. -Curt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would *much* rather deal with ethanol than MTBE, which contaminates ground water and hardens rubber fuel lines. --------------------------------- Yahoo!
