Sure, if theres lots of commercial work around, especially data centers and the 
like the demand will be up.I also suspect the average grunt doesn't make much. 
I know a guy who owns a fire sprinkler business. His sprinkler fitters make 
peanuts, $10-$15 an hour. The owner is rolling in the dough...

That probably depends where you live. A friend of mine has been a 
commercial electrician working for the same company for 20 years 
no and gets paid less then $20 an hour.
