the Pisten Bully and my ASV. We we worried the vibrations from a tracked
machine would break them. They've been great for a season on the Pisten Bully
and about 10 hours this year in the ASV.
I mounted an LED light bar on the back of the ASV yesterday and I've got a 4"
to go on also. The exhaust (rear engined machine) is offset to the passenger
side so the light bar is off to the driver's side with the 4" on the
passenger's.
That install has taken way more farting around than it should have. The
insulation on the wires for the light bar disintigrated on the outside of the
machine. It was very hard to snake a new wire into place. For the 4" I'm going
to cut the old light out and immediately heatshrink over the insulation so it
doesn't have a chance to go bad. All of this is while crouching on top of the
fuel tank (which is an approved standing surface) since the lights are at knee
height if you're standing. I'll try to take a picture today.
