All correct. How do you protect against an unknown?
there are not many choices, but they pretty much boil down to:
1. Ignore it, (wait until its characteristics are determined, then react)
2. act proactively. This almost always leads to being accused of
overreacting..whether it was or not.
Some of the things that happened:
1. chicomms tried to suppress it until they no longer could keep it
hidden/secret
2. USA offered to send in experts/help
3. chicomms refused help
4. USA put up travel restrictions
5. USA attempted to evacuate citizens from the area (gummit employees
first.)
6, All known possible carriers were quarantined; later all known
carriers were quarantined.
and so forth. Each early step taken by the USA seems reasonable.
Chicoms did what coms do. First hide, then Lie.
To be fair, CDC and other gummit agencies identified the composition as
being part sars and part aids very quickly. They knew it originated at
the only level 4 lab in all of china, which the WHO used our tax dollars
to help the chicomms set up a bio weapons lab. They also determined
pretty quickly that it had a long shelf life outside a host, on
inanimate objects.
THe (J) party (and their propaganda masters) wasted no time in using the
disease as a political weapon.
Media whips the sheeple into even more of a frenzy than they were with
TDS prior to the disease.
Sheeple raid stores for masks and TP.

I have a hypothesis on this virus. I suspect that the reason the CCP
did the quarantines and lock downs was that
1. It was a man-made or modified virus
2. They had absolutely no clue how contagious or lethal it was going
to be.
In hindsight, I suspect that they have caused an unnecessary panic
because of incompetence, ignorance, and fear.
In my opinion, it would appear the best defense against this, or any
other pathogen, is good hygiene practice. Proper hand washing, don't
rub your eyes with unclean hands, don't pick your nose, proper
bathroom hygiene, etc.
