San Francisco is one of my favorite cities. About 15 years ago we stayed at
the Red Victorian in the Haight. Very hippie-tastic, a real hoot. More recently
we stayed in Hotel Triton on the edge of Chinatown.
The cable car museum is not to be missed, IIRC its free too. You get to see the
big motors that pull the cable cars around.

Stay away from nursing homes..  SanFransicko was a place to be very very
cautious in, even decades ago.   In 1988 it was like a prison.   Ugly,
dirty, filled with criminals,   They'd let you in, but you had to buy
your way out.  its only gotten worse.    It is worse than the armpit of
the country.   It is the unwiped anus of the country.   literally and
figuratively.

You could do like the chinese are doing.   Cut the bottom of a clear
plastic 5 gallon waterjug and wear it over your head to keep the virus out.

Gotta admit it is innovative when nothing else is available.   But I
wonder about its effectiveness, other than as a placebo.
