You can do your own vermont title. instructions are online. However
they charge sales tax on the NADA value of the vehicle, not on actual
price. In the case of my Calif 240D, they want something like $400
sales tax plus other fees.

The guy couldn’t find out what lender held the lien. I need to find
that out, do some negotiations
