Just SWMBO and me at home so we rinse dishes before putting in dishwasher and 
only run the dishwasher 1-2 times a week.  With no stuck-on food we use the 
quick wash cycle which ai WAY faster than normal wash.

I think all dishwashers these days take that long or longer due to conservation 
etc. We had a fairly recent Maytag that we bought 5 years ago they took 3-4 
hours on the heavy duty cycle. The Bosch we have now takes a little under 3 
hours on heavy duty.
