Does what mean anything?
 
 They do not always have the sticker, in which case, they have a copy of the 
invoice. 
 
 Did they tell you they have no info or something?

According to an article in the May 18 issue of Der Stuttgarter Zeitung (an 
entire section is dedicated to the new MB Museum opening), Mercedes Benz 
Classic production figures are 40,000 in English and 90,000 in German.
 
 Nothing was said about the English version being discontinued. MBUSA is 
discontinuing it, but I wonder if it is still being produced in Germany and may 
be available through another channel. I only ever received two copies 
(subscribing just as they decided to discontinue it). BOTH issues came Priority 
mail! This is NOT how to mail a magazine...
 
 DID ANYBODY ELSE GET THEIRS ALL BY PRIORITY MAIL?
 
 I'm wondering if MBUSA was loosing money on it because they don't know how to 
mail magazines...
 
 40,000 is alot of subscribers and even though they are scattered around 
english speaking countries, there are shipping methods (ISAL - International 
Surface Air Lift) which makes international mailings reasonable.
 
 Anyway, just thinking aloud. I really liked the magazine. 
 
 I can't see someone ditching a mag with 40,000 subscribers when you are simplt 
translating from a mag you are already doing for 90,000 subscribers. I think 
someone screwed something up.

I've seen the 5.0s and 500SLCs go between $10k and $20k depending on
condition on eBay over the years. I think the 450SLCs are the bargin
of the 107 chassis. They're often half the price of the SL.
