The PBCU on that model doesn't suffer from bad solder joints,
I don't believe, it's all electronic (no high-current relays
on board).

Au contraire, mon frere. I have personally repaired bad
solder joints in the PB assembly, the ones on the switches
themselves in particular can go bad. It's vibration and
flexing coupled to mass that does it, not high current.
(Relays are heavy, they'd be particularly susceptible too.
But you're right, there aren't any. There's one in a 201.)

I do now have a non-running AC compressor I need to diagnose, any hints of how to determine if it's the PBCU or the KLIMA relay?
