I missed this the 1st time around - perhaps its not pertinent - there's an
o-ring where the MC mates to the booster. It does *not* always come w/new
booster. It fits into a groove near the MC flange. its critical to seal
the booster -

I presume theres a grommet too or is it included?
I imagine its a tight fit on the line.
I guess it's normally part of the hose, because there's no way
to stretch it far enough to go either of the fittings. (So it's
put on first.)
I, however, often replace missing such grommets with ones I pull out
of used oil filters. Spray off the oil, slit 'em open, and wrap it
around the line. Turn it so the slit is not in the open on the metal
clamp that holds it. Works well. This, of course, is only suitable
when the line is not significantly damaged due to the missing grommet.
(Otherwise a little Shoe Goo might be appropriate! :-)
