Should be okay if you treat it like you would injector lines -- make sure it's not under stress and not going to be flexed. Copper work-hardens and becomes brittle when it flexes. I would use stranded from the first plug in the 'chain' to the relay. VWs are wired roughly this way, with a copper bus bar that lays across the tops of the plugs and connects them together.
