Are you tightening everything down before fastening the cam gear (you should be)?
If so then no problem, just get everything tight & then move the cam around to TDC. What's going on is the pressure from the lifters on the cam lobes are moving the cam around. Yes, I am tightening all 8 bolts 1 turn before going through the sequence again. I've been working on it nearly 2 hours this morning and cannot get it to hold TDC. Advice?
