FWIW, you could probably get a 20-35% increase in efficiency if you upgraded. The new condensing furnaces (two heat exchangers, PVC exhaust) are up to 95% efficient, ones with just an exhaust fan are around 80%, and I think the draft furnaces are around 60%.
