BHO is 1/8 black (African-African), 3/8 Arab (Arab-African, or maybe African-Arab, I get confused, but Arabs don't consider themselves black, but not sure exactly where they fall in the scheme of things), 1/2 Caucasian (European-American), but apparently the actual test is how you "identify" yourself and with whom or what groups you associate, if you have some aspect of your biological heritage that corresponds to others with similar biological heritage. So in that sense he became "black" at some point (per his sister's description of his "identity").
I computed that I am 1/16 pre-European-invader-Indigenous person, but apparently to qualify as the real deal I have to identify and associate with other PEIIPs in a tribal sense or something. Someone told me a few weeks ago I qualified for "Indian checks" (1/32 or better), whatever those are, apparently an annual payment from the gummint of some sort to offset my wounds.
