Thank you for your quick implementation! Since I'm not keen on compiling
everything myself on Windows, I'll wait for the next binary release to
see it.

I assume it only works for single nodes dropped on a way. Those can be
easily removed from the way again, from a logical point of view. How is
it with nodes that are endpoints of more than one way? Or nodes that are
the endpoint of a way but within another way? Or nodes that are within
more than one way? These are the harder situations I think. I don't know
how frequently each situation occurs.
