You might try importing the audio clip directly into your stack and then
call:

  play mySound looping

On windows, playback may be acceptable.  On the Mac (which has less audio
support), you're probably better off using an external like SNDChannel.

FWIW, I've been messing with audio in MC for a long time.  It doesn't matter
if your clip can loop seamlessly in a sound editor -- you'll be lucky to
achieve this in MC.  And even if you do, you'll find that repeatedly editing
your stack may eventually disturb some bits deep in the stack that will
cause gaps to suddenly appear in your loops.

No, it's because audio support is still in need of enhancement by the MC
