Two Welsh meteorites...try pronouncing these...!!!

'Beddgelert'...went through the pub roof in 1949 (think the 'dd' is pronounced 'th')
and...
'Pontllyfni' 1931 (the 'llyf' is pronounced as a kind if slurred 'cclif' sound )

A fair description. I spent some time once in Llangollen, and the patient coaching of some locals got my pronunciation moderately close. It took some work, though.

Are there any Welsh meteorites?

Hi, Darren, Chris, List

The great dictionarianist Samuel Johnson
described it as the sound of a goose hissing!
I suppose it depends on how angry the Welsh
speaker is at English dictionarianists...
