When you have got the plasmid, you need to sequence it, of course, to
verify it's a Taq and to determine suitable primer sequences.
For a start, frequently occurring elements like T4, T7, Sp6, His tag
etc. should be useful, you might find appropriate primers in your
lab's fridge.
You might want to search the internet for some commonly used plasmids
like pCDNA3 or dig in the tech section of your NEB catalogue to obtain
lots of structural information on how plasmids look like.
