I believe Lead In/Out will create the lines without
offset regardless of whether you use Ref. Point or not. Just be sure Line Offset
Match is not checked.

think what you need to do is add a non-cutter comp lead-in. Add the lead-in
from the plunge location to the start of the profile. If you use "Reference
Point" to add the lead-in, it will automatically be produced with no cutter
comp.

I need to program a slot that is 1.67
long and .75 wide using a 1/2 dia. endmill. I would to plunge at one end of
the slot and in the center then go around the slot. When I use the cutter
comp., it looks like the tool is being offset and starting off
center.
