Thanks for the comment Joe!
I will look in to this.

First, you need to know security for what? That is, Iron Key like an
iPhone is more of a geek fashion statement for the price.
It's cool and slick, but at the end of the day what are you really
trying to do?
Bottom line if someone get's your key you don't want them to have easy
access to your private files, right?
Thus:
1) $20 or less normal USB key ***
2) Use TrueCrypt to secure data (http://www.truecrypt.org/) and it
works with OS/X and Windows so you can access your data from any platform
Simple, affordable, easy project that only takes 10-20 minutes, how
can you go wrong? ( ho ya, and it uses FOSS! better still )
*** I love my micro-usb it's a small chunk of stainless steel that's
been through the wash 2 times and still works with NO PROBLEMS!

I haven't personally used one but there was an episode of Security
Now a while ago (http://www.grc.com/securitynow.htm#135). They
took a pretty good look at what exactly the IronKey does and
doesn't do. Might be a bit out of date now but probably still
worth a listen if your thinking about buying one.

This seem like an interesting way to protect passwords.
Anyone on this list tried this usb key?

The personal 1gb key is about $79. Its a bit expensive for a
1gb thumb-drive :o)
I'm wondering if its really worth it.
Thanks
