You can also make a normal USB thumb drive bootable and place SystemRescueCD
(http://www.sysresccd.org) on it, which takes up less then 400mb.
Which allows you to say boot up that office Windows system and re-set the
password thus saving the day!

I have been meaning to present my 1 page instructions on how to do this as a
lightning talk, it makes the USB key very handy :-)
