Which version of Mozilla would you install?  Because they dropped 
support for Win9x there, too.  Which email client?  Doesn't seem 
easy to find a supported version of an email client that will do POP3s 
or IMAPs with either SSL or TLS.

I can understand installing Win98 in "non-net" mode to play old games or 
something, but ... for general use on the net?  Gads.  Remember, on 
Win9x everything runs as root, as is there is no user-level separation 
of privilages.

Wish it were so.  Although it would obviously be silly to specifically 
target it, there's a lot of "generic" Windows malware that still 
infects Win98.

Often requires Win9x specific drivers in my experience.  Probably 
available if the printer is old, little chance if the printer is new.

Try loading Win98 and browse a few websites you know are risky.  
Download one or two programs that "just sound good" like an 
unexperienced person would.  See what happens.  It isn't pretty.
