Actually as I read up and brush up for my June exam I am becoming interested
in the satellite communications aspect. Thus I think that after I get my
ticket again, I will create a PPA with the current software so that "HAMs"
can take any Ubuntu install and install all the necessary software they
want/need.

The only thing that makes me sad is the that the ARRL and other groups seems
to think that  MS Windows is the only OS they need to support.
