The heater hard line will bend. Just be gentle. You can also wrap the heater line, itself, in some heat reflecting wrap. We have some in stock, and you can purchase from summit racing as well.

($110 shipped!) The header seems fine, actually, but the #4 runner is *very* close to the heater hose. To keep it from melting instantly, I've wrapped it in foil, but I need to do something better than that. I'm worried about trying to bend the hardline that runs under the header, since I can see it cracking almost instantly, so I guess I'm looking for a way to insulate it. Keith has described how header wrap destroyed a header in short order. What was that failure mode? Would something like the Track Dog Racing blanket have the same problem? Any ideas (that keep the heater working :D ) are welcome.
