FWIW, Mark, I would not be surprised to see #4 hotter than #1. Assuming your
are on the stock coolant routing.

I would be surprised to see #1 hotter than #4. I think you should trace the
probes so you can tell which one is which.

Hi All,

As I'm driving around with my new plugs and wires, and not detecting
any missing, I'm seeing that my #1 and #4 EGTs are different by about
150 degrees F. One will be about 1200F, the other about 1350F. Does
anyone else have probes just outside of #1 and #4? Are you too seeing
numbers like this?

What's weird is that before I changed the plugs and wires, the
readings were within 25F of each other (basically within a needle
width or my optical margin of error). I've only been doing Lambda
tuning and haven't started to play with the ignition values (just made
sure that they are the 1.6 defaults as listed on FlyinMiata).

Insightful comments appreciated. ;-)

Mark
