Also, another strength factor is the tooth count. The fewer the teeth the
stronger they are. A remake of the 3.308 with 13/43 would have the highest
tooth count of currently available gear sets (the 4.625 having the least at
8/37).

Not that it would matter for low/no boost applications, but the pinion would
need to be 20%-25% stronger to provide the same wheel torque capacity as the
4.1 gearset.
